Meet and greet upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu airport and depart to local restaurant for lunch. Then proceed to Mari Mari Cultural Village. Upon arrival and after a briefing with your village guides, cross over the hanging bridge to arrive at the entrance of the village. Here, you will be ushered to the warmth of different homes of the ethnicities of Sabah. Each home was built by descendants of the tribes they represent – such as the ethnic tribes, namely the Bajau, Kadazan, Rungus , Muruts and others. It offers you a truly genuine experience seeing everything in and around the village lends to its magical prowess of taking you back in time. Not only does this village portray these tribes through the architectural genius of their traditional houses, but also through a range of simulated lives of the olden epoch by the residents of the village. Acquaint yourself with each tribe as they let you come into their house and their simple yet intricate lives. As you traverse the village, you will find demonstration huts along the main houses in which daily activities of old times come into life. For example, the making of blowpipe, starting a fire (from bamboo tree – you will learn the steps of making fire without the help of a lighter), tattoo-making (and its symbolisms) and more. Later, proceed to see the cultural show performed by the village guides and you will be welcomed to join in the performance. High Tea at Mari Mari Cultural Village.

Return to Kota Kinabalu and transfer to selected hotel for check-in

Meet at hotel and depart to Kinabalu Park. Enroute, brief stopover at Nabalu Market. Kinabalu National Park – Malaysia’s 1st World Heritage site, home to half of the world flowering plants species it is also fame for the Majestic Mt. Kinabalu (4,095m). Visit the Education Centre upon arrival to appreciate the botanical wonders of Kinabalu Park. Visit the Mountain Garden to identify the various species of pitcher plants, orchids, ferns, mountain oaks, some of which can only be found in Borneo.

Later proceed to Poring Hot Spring set amidst a lowland rainforest. Take a walk through the treetop canopy walkway to get closer to nature – listening to the chirping of birds or sound of insects will surely chase away the stress of city life. You may opt to sooth your body in the hot sulphuric spring water known to possess therapeutic power (please bring along change of clothes & towel).

Meet at lobby and depart to Kota Kinabalu for your boat ride to Bungaraya Island Resort, a luxury getaway perched on the hillsides of Polish Bay on Gaya Island off the coast of Sabah, Malaysia Borneo. The property lies hidden among the forest vegetation and is crowned by a 1km fine sandy beach. Enjoy the cool sea breeze and discover the wonders of South China Sea by snorkelling or kayaking. Return to mainland and transfer back to your hotel.

After breakfast, free at own leisure until time for your transfer to Kota Kinabalu Airport for your flight departure.
